It's just a matter of time.

The alien invaders, The Vardans, are partially on Gallifrey, The Doctor explains his plans to his trusted friend Borusa.

Great scenes once again between Leela and Rodan. Hilary Ryan was excellent as Rodan, Jameson as always takes the role seriously, plays it with utter sincerity, and put her heart and soul into it. Rewatching the episode from her spell, I hadn't realised exactly how good Jameson was. I like Chris Tranchell, I just struggle to see him as a head guard. Milton Johns is also very good as the treacherous Castellan, he was perfect for the part.

The tone is perhaps a little silly at times. Tom got away with a lot here.

Outter Gallifrey looks very good, and it's a land we haven't seen yet. It gave us a new insight into The Timelords. A good cliffhanger.

More tinfoil then in a supermarket aisle.

Invasion of the Vardans...

The Vardans have taken the citadel, encased in a tin foil type of shell, like slashed disco balls, they reflect off the walls, think the Doctor still leads their bombshell.
