Easily the best story so far of this series.

Romana has been bitten by a Spider, and undergoes many changes, meanwhile onboard The Starliner, The Deciders continue to experiment on The captured Marshman.

It continues to be very good, I think that quality stems from both the writing, and the script, the narrative is cohesive, it flows so incredibly well. Lalla is terrific here, showing just how good an actress she is.

The moment where Dexeter begins to operate is grim.

Two interesting quirks, first, writer Andrew Smith was just seventeen years old, and second this episode picked up 2.2 million viewers from the last.

Very good, 8/10.

This is one of the most consistently great doctor who episodes of old times. It's the best old who episode after Earthshock, Invasion, and most of the 3rd doctor episodes. It's intriguing and entertaining. My score for this episode: 8 out of 10.

Deception, insincerity and deceit all lead the way, through a set of guiding manuals that must always be obeyed, with Romana under venomous and virulent control, the men from marsh do cometh, to inflict unearthly toll.
