The Doctor gets to work on The Weed, but the weed has other ideas.
So often with a six story there's a dip in the middle, not the case here, it continues to develop and unfold brilliantly. There is not a moment's let up, it's a wonderfully exciting episode.
The closing scene of Maggie Harris covered in weeds and walking into it is just wonderful. I can only imagine how good it looks. Another of my favourite moments from Doctor Who. I also love the scene where Robson returns to his cabin and is locked in, it's a great sequence.
Victor Madden is once again hugely charismatic in the role of Robson, his stress and irascibility is brilliantly played out, he's so unreasonable, you feel he is on the verge of losing control.
Great from Deborah Watling too, you can see in this episode the cracks beginning to appear with Victoria, it feels like the beginning of the end for her.
A quick note on the music, one of Dudley Simpson's best, highly original, Oak and Quill's theme is one of my favourites.
Part 3, and Fury just keeps getting better and better. 10/10.
