An Involving, Sad Story
ccthemovieman-111 January 2007
Warning: Spoilers
A Navy-Marine corporal "Price" has been found dead in central park during Fleet Week. A highly-decorated combat veteran ....and there are no signs of a struggle? Mac, Danny and Flack take the case. It turns out to be a puzzling case.

The shocker is the second case. A charred body is found inside a car, an obvious torch job with someone trying to burn the body, not the car. Forensics discover it's a female and she had been severely beaten to death before the fire. Stella, Sheldon and Lyndsay investigate.

A re-construction of the face reveals the stunning discovering that the victim is "Aiden Burn," the CSI member from last year's show. Who killed her and why? Needless to say, this part of the show is very intense and personal.

This was an excellent episode and, as someone who liked Vanessa Ferlito ("Aiden") and was sorry to see her leave the program last year, also a very sad one.

Goof
lince189 August 2006
There's a Goof in this Episode, when the burned body is discovered in the car, they said that only the inner car of the car has burned and it has done so violently because the windows were closed and so the fire stopped when the interior run out of Oxygen....but, every time there's a Fhlasback showing the car burning, the right window is OPEN. Commenting the episode, I think that the writers lost an opportunity to make a more emotional ending although is possible that they avoid it because crossing images of two official funerals with pipe sound and the rest will had been very obvious. At least this episode must have been shooted at New York, because there are some images taken aboard The USS Intrepid Museum ¿or not?

Warning: Spoilers
I love how Aiden gave them everything they needed to get her killer and Trevor Price didn't deserve what happened I hope the killer rots in prison. He was trying to help and aiden knew she wasn't making out alive so she left clues to help identify her killer. I wish corpal price had that opportunity he more than experienced to do that. But the csi of ny did a great job at finding out how he died and getting his killer and aiden was a great detective she knew how to leave the clues needed to help it sucks she was killed off why was she killed though it made no sense I wish she wasn't I like her.
