season finale
monkey_93610 June 2006
This episode is by far the best season finale of any show this season. The episode is so tragic and beautiful, everything is absolutely perfect in this episode and although everyone has major roles in this episode the story and drama center around Denny and Izzie. This is one that no one should miss. If you haven't ever watched the show you should because it is the best show on television and this episode proves it. The music adds so much to the show and the official website is awesome because it has a list of all the songs used for every episode. All the main characters are so interesting and real; As a viewer you like them all despite their flaws and personality issues. Anyone who watches a few episodes of this show will love it.

scene music

Warning: Spoilers
so in the season finale there was a scene where Preston had to be waken up from surgery and they had called in OH to help. THe music in the background was amazing!! Does anyone know who the singer/band is? THe scene going back to back with Deny heart and then Preston's hand trying to move because he could have gotten paralysis. I checked the soundtrack online and i didn't find it there. Does anyone know where i could find out or on wot website do you think they might have it? I've been looking for it everywhere since i finished watchin the show. But i think I've looked so much that I've started to forget the song's name. I know that it was a male singer that was singing to a really nice beat.

Missing Song (contains spoilers)

Warning: Spoilers
Tune Find and the ABC Music Guide neglected to credit "Lay Down Beside Me" by Jim Kremens as the music playing when Izzie is lying on the bed next to Denny after he has died. That is too bad, as the song added so much to the poignancy of that scene.

This is one of my all time favorite television episodes. Izzy's devastation, and the way each of the other principal characters deals with it says a great deal about the amazing way that Sondra Rhimes keeps us riveted to the show and coming back for more each week. When Alex picked Izzie up and removed her from the bed, I was absolutely drowning in tears. ( It's a good thing that crying raises our immune system.)

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Burke, he is heavily wounded after the gunfight. There has been taken care of Burke at the Seattle Grace Hospital. Izzie tries to save Denny his life, he is in a critical situation now. Adele and Richard have a fiery quarrel about their niece. Izzie gets removed out of Denny's room. Bailey decided that Izzie isn't a doctor in the hospital anymore. Burke gets a seizure. Amazing Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 2, what a great Episode with a lot of events. Burke is still in a critical situation and Denny's body won't accept his new heart for now! Will they both survive it?

Absurd

I never watched Grey's. I started binge watching the series over the weekend and I'm now at this episode. Cannot believe the level of hysterical romance fantasy around life/death situation. Izzy was out of her mind. And so were her 'friends.' It's really an unattractive portrait of women who are supposed to functioning in a professional setting w/careers on the line. They think they are shattering stereotypes but instead they just proved them. Worse yet is an audience that buys into them making this a success.

Give me a break

Two men who cheated on their wives telling each other how honorable they are. Appalling scriptwriting. Hard to believe this series is from a female director.

A female doctor who jeopardizes her career for a man? Really?

And the dialogues are tedious. They fall into 2 categories.

1. One person talks, the other doesn't listen, but then talks. The first responds to their own issue, having not listened to the second. The second responds to their own issues, having not listened to the first. Kinda exactly like any conversation with some nationalities.

2. Long monologues based on the rule of threes. Always three. Massively contrived and artificial. This is a great series to run in the background while you're doing something more important .
