"Megabyte, what a delightful mess you're making!"

Warning: Spoilers
You can tell that they really worked hard to kick off the second season with a bang in the best way they could and I think they did a fantastic job, this episode is one of my favourites! Megabyte is on the attack and is a more scary and genuine threat than ever before. Part of the reason I regard this episode so highly is that it firmly establishes him really well as a real menacing villain much better than any of the first season episodes did. He's really quite cruel and ruthless in this one as he uses a clever ruse to gain access to the Supercomputer and he uses it to slowly crash the whole system unless it surrenders to his control. It's neat to see what the Supercomputer can do if commanded to, and it's also interesting to see something new involving Mainframe and the mysterious User that isn't another game.. Even if it's only a very elaborate trick by Megabyte! Also they drop a big clue as to the connection between Megabyte and Hexadecimal when he refers to her as "family." Ooh! Anyway it gets rather grim as everyone starts to look all translucent as they weaken and the city begins to collapse. I like Enzo in this too, as the system begins to fail he shows his true colours by trying to keep everyone in the diner alive and functioning. He has the true heart of a Guardian! Something that I find particularly great about this one is the fantastic movie references, with well-placed nods to the big three of sci-sci movies within the story. There is "Aliens" with the giant mech suit that Dot uses to trash Megabyte until he uses his power to infect and control machines to turn it against her, "The Terminator" when Megabyte's red glowing eyes briefly fade out as he's almost crushed by the suit, and "Predator" when Megabyte is fooled into entering a virus destroying chamber and uses a self-destruct button on his wrist to force them to eject him from it! To me this is a wonderful action-packed episode and a phenomenally well done season opener!
