Lisa develops a crush on Nelson Muntz.
This is a strong episode with some memorable humour and character moments.
This is a solid arc for Lisa with some great use of side characters like Nelson and Millhouse. I like the recognisable dynamic between various types of school children. It was always bullies in my school that had the nice (and in many cases intelligent) girlfriends. Easily the standout moment is the gag involving Millhouse passing Lisa's note to Nelson, as it still makes me laugh out loud 20+ years later.
The subplot involving Homer is reasonably good but pretty much a one-joke affair. Chief Wiggum's use of his sidearm is great.
