Carrie's Hair
The reason Carrie's hair looked ridiculous wasn't because it was short, but because of the ugly way she had it styled. All she had to do was get some gel, hair spray and a blow dryer to style it better.

For a character who we've learned used to keep a can of Aqua Net in her purse during the 80's, you'd think she'd know how to give that short cut a good style.

Other than that, it's a funny episode especially when Doug drew the angry eyebrows on the wig head to make it look like Carrie. And I have to disagree with the other reviewer here because I think the show got funnier as it progressed. At this point in the series it was still running on all cylinders--though I do miss Holly.

I think the final season was when it hit the wall, but that was thankfully only 12 episodes.

Tired of the Heff
SimonSaysSmallScreen3 April 2022
As the seasons progress I get tired of the selfish, gaslighting, thieving, petty moron that is the Doug Heffernan character. Despite Carrie also being a despicable character, she's still got my sympathies. Jerry Stiller's Arthur is still funny. But Doug is mostly just annoying. This is what it looks like when a comedy series loses steam but keeps on chugging along. It's the reason Jerry Seinfeld wisely decided to wrap up his series over the network's objections, before it suffered this sad fate. But then, he knew he'd have no problem doing something next.
