An adult movie concealed as a documentary

Warning: Spoilers
"Marie and Jack: A Hardcore Love Story" is an American documentary that runs for slightly under half an hour and was directed by Tony Comstock. It seems he has made several of these documentaries involving actors from the adult film industry. The ones we have here, Marie Silve and Jack Bravo, are a married couple and both have sex with other people because of their profession. So there is some talk about how they deal with it and how the lack of intimacy, soulmate and emotion during professional sex means that it is something they can accept the other person doing. Oh well, I am not really sure if they mean that 100% because this little film felt incredibly staged. And apart from the almost non-existent informative aspect, this is also barely something that can be called a documentary because from the 10-minute mark until the end they show us the two having sex with some interruptions of the duo talking about what you see, so you can call it commented sex if you want to say so. By the way lets keep in mind here that these two are professional actors and that it is very likely that none of the body fluid exchange is authentic the way it would happen also in the spouses' bedroom when noone is watching. I must say I am not sold by the general idea and execution of this project as a whole. Big thumbs-down from me. The only thing slightly positive I can say here is from the male heterosexual perspective that the female looks mildly attractive. But this does not mean this film did not turn out to be a failure. Huge thumbs-down. Don't watch. Not even when you're horny because then you really want to do without all the talking.

graphic docudrama

Purchased this DVD as a fan of NC-17 rated movies and watched it last night. Am REALLY surprised that this received an NC-17 rating as the sexual content is extremely graphic (nothing left to the imagination other than the actual ejaculation shot! you do get to see the results though) The movie was interesting enough but the male lead is a bit annoying...his wife can't complete a sentence without him interjecting his own views. That being said if you want to see an erotic film about those who work "in the industry" as he puts it, this is a good example. Be forewarned though, the sex is, again, very graphic. If anyone has examples of other NC-17 rated films please let me know on the message board...especially if you can actually purchase the unedited version and not a washed-down R-rated edit. Thanks to all!
