When volunteers are sought to organise the school dance Sandi persuades Quinn to put her name forward saying that the Fashion Club will act as her committee. Inevitably they soon have disagreements and Quinn is left to find help elsewhere. Eventually she turns to Daria and Jane; Daria declines but Jane sees it as an opportunity show her creative talents on a very large canvas. While this is going on Kevin and Britney have fallen out but are having problems finding new dates for the dance and Sandi decides to have a party on the night of the dance. One of the events is a success and the other is a disaster... it isn't had to guess which is which!
This was a really fun episode; it was great seeing how Sandi's party turned out... especially when it started to snow. It was equally fun to see how successful Jane's dance plans turned out; even the choice of Upchuck to act as DJ was inspired... it kept him away from the dance floor! The biggest shock of the event for me wasn't the fact that the dance ended in a punch up... it was that Ms Li didn't object to Jane's Jackson Pollock inspired artwork!
