This is a sick and twisted episode

A big part why i don't like this show, is that there isn't a hint or irony too it. As if the people watching can smile and nod their heads and be like, "Yep this is totally accurate this how life is". This episode explains why Lois is so domineering and hard on her children, and it's the most sick and twisted explanation possible. The stuff with Jamie is just the icing on the cake and the stuff with the stupid diving board are the candles. But this wrong. Anyone who would seriously set fire to a teddy bear and not let go, thus burning their hand, is not crazy, but needs to be institutionalized or they shouldn't be raising children. Self-arm just to prove a point is wrong. I don't care if they were playing up Francis as a demon baby or born bad troupe, that still isn't an excuse. When you do self-harm onto yourself, and then constantly do it to others, then it is a sign of mental illness. In real life Lois would be in a hospital or that her children would be taken away. I don't care if the creators of this show think it's hilarious, it isn't. Being a parent is not a job for everyone. But lets say that Francis wasn't trying to start a fire with some matches when he was a toddler, but Lois still did the bear on fire, that is still a form of child endangerment and domestic abuse. That isn't funny, especially when it's so rampant and goes undocumented or unnoticed.
