Worst episode ever! Are we supposed to laugh at Eric's misery, or are we supposed to cry because we can relate to the pain that he's in?

Stressed Eric is always an awful show, but any other Stressed Eric episode is tame compared to this cruel mess. No wonder it was The Mysterious Mr. Enter's 96th Animated Atrocity video. It may as well be-the "Drawn Together Movie" of Stressed Eric episodes. Everything you hate about the show can easily be summed up in this 1 episode, as are what's hated about Drawn Together in its first episode and the movie at the end of the series. Eric suffers more physical pain and injuries in this episode than any other episode I've seen. Much like the Star vs. the FOE episodes Gift of the Card and Page Turner after this, they pain the audience almost as much as the characters with obnoxious voices and sound effects.

Stressed Eric Feeble is about to have an interview for a better job, but then an ambulance hits his left leg and he has to go to a hospital. The only reason why the episode can keep going on for 26 minutes instead of being cut 20 minutes short is because he can call to reschedule the interview while everything else goes on around him that stops him from getting checked. He gets continually injured more and more by other patients that make him miss his call, he's not enough of a priority case to be a priority case when other people are for more minor instances, and Eric's own doctor would rather have sex with the woman calling people up instead of looking at Eric himself. There's also a stupid subplot where Maria tries to make breakfast for Eric's kids. I haven't even spoiled half of the cruel "jokes" in this episode. It's just bloody melodrama.

Other cruel cartoon milestones like Plankton getting driven to suicide in One Coarse Meal, Star getting Marco a gift card that would destroy them both if Marco didn't use it in Gift of the Card, Twilight getting dumped by her friends for the bride that was mean to them in A Canterlot Wedding, Timmy being told that everyone who was ungrateful for his help is better off without his existence in It's a Wishful Life, the pain Gus and Wally caused Lord Peel in There's No Business Like Monkey Business, and the insulting These 3 Guys Day in Herpe the Love Sore have got almost nothing on Stressed Eric's Horrible Hospital. The only reason to watch Stressed Eric is to learn what you shouldn't do in a comedy. It's ironic and it's a lazy way to be ironic. No wonder the Hank Azaria re-dub in the US was only done for 4 episodes. I am not surprised NBC quit after this one.
