So so so so so BAD!!!

Within 5 minutes of seeing this film I knew it probably wasn't good BUT since I am open minded and believe in giving everything a fair chance, I decided to watch the film in its entirety before commenting. Unfortunately, after the movie was over I still didn't like it. The main actors Diamond and Mandela were so annoying! The plot was horrible and boring, was this supposed to be a comedy? The supporting actors seriously needed acting classes except for the woman playing Mandelas mom. She was the only believable character in the whole movie. The movie was made worse with the shoddy voice overs of the actors and in some instances throughout the movie, the sound was so low you couldn't hear what was being said. The movie had no subtitle option available which I believe could've helped the movie. Sorry, but I guess only in America can someone actually think this movie is good. Pass on this one!

Watch it if your bored really nothing special

I watched this movie because at the time it had a 7.7 rating on IMDb...however little did i know that was comprised of 8 votes. The movie is about a Nigerian man and a American female whose a spoiled girl and the Nigerian mans parents coming over. its filled with little snippets of decent humor, i have to say most of the acting was pretty bad, but there were a couple times of laughter. I've seen far worse films but I'm not going to beat around the bush...this was pretty bad too. So if your bored (like i was at work) or if you have nothing to do go for it watch it maybe you'll like it....but I'm pretty sure for the most part you wont... it probably deserves a 3 out of 10 but because whoever was affiliated in creating it is obviously on here, i gave it a 4

It was worth the 14.99+tax I gave to Blockburster Video...

This is a movie that I spent my money on and there was no regrets..It is a classic in it's own way.And the most interesting thing about it is that it is very original and unique,new upcoming star quality actors with real talent,especially the two leads Diamond and Mandela..they got me hooked till the end...I thought that the movie should have been longer,at least 90 minutes or more,it would have been a perfect 10.Definitely a real wonderful piece to see.We need more movies like this one,tired of special effects and people blowing up everywhere in films that is not real..This film is pure natural comedy with almost 90% elements of reality and truth.The writer and director should be encouraged to do more work like this one..Beautiful comedy from beginning to end. I give it a 9 out of 10.Great work!!!!!

Very Intereting comedy

Very interesting film,very different and original from any other film that I have rented and watched. I like the lead girl,I think she is very hot..The lead guy who I found out wrote the script too is on his way,he has some special features about him that I liked and he is like nobody out there,his accent is real cool too..I wanna speak like that.We need more movies from the African heritage like this one. Definitely very unique.I enjoyed it,very interesting.The white girl who speaks about 2000 words per minute is cute,she should be my girl,I like her,very interesting character.The film was too short though,I think it should have been at least 90 minutes.

Only In America was well made..I really enjoyed it,especially the cultural conflict and the way one could easily get acquainted with another culture was tapped into.It is very entertaining and you will laugh from beginning to the end.The acting was great,especially the writing.The writer,Pascal Atuma did a wonderful job of keeping the audience in suspense,I totally enjoyed the whole movie.The director also did a marvelous job.Having the lead actress come up to the Dad and stand on top of the bed while she was talking to him was hilarious,I couldn't stop laughing. It was perfect,but the only thing I didn't like was the portrayal of the African American girl as a cheat in her husbands house..All our sisters does not cheat on their husbands..Overall,it is a wonderful film..Well made!!!

As we already know when it comes to comedies,pascal Atuma is one of the best.Having started his career as a very funny guy on the stage.I have watched this movie(only in America)almost 100 times, and every time i do it seems to be even more of a laugh.Pascal Atuma gave Oscar performance in this movie,and the talented Tanjareen Martin did a great job being a bad house wife,Shola Adeyemo was wonderful and Philomena Oyey was wonderful too.i honestly think that all the cast in this movie did outstanding work.I love this movie because i can relate to it.I think everyone should get a copy of this movie and watch.GREAT JOB PASCAL KEEP IT UP ON YOUR OUTSTANDING WORK.>>>>>>>>>>I'm OUT
