Great take on the Nam

I just like how Jimbo made the Vietnam war sound like a fairytale story kids would love. Every metaphor is just brilliant. For instance, Jimbo came out off a "Ferris Wheel", which probably means American ship or helicopter that got Jimbo to Vietnam. The "log ride" both Jimbo and the man from the car mentioned was probably those helicopters that sent the wounded to the hospital.

Ned got shocked and turned into a vegetable was not because of the plastic frog, it's probably due to the PTSD when a grenade thrown by Jimbo exploded in front of him.

Thanks South Park for being so brilliant at making sorrowful things so funny and meaningful at the same time.

Funny episode

Mexican Staring Frog Of Southern Sri Lanka, is a pretty funny South Park episode. It is a funny spoof of what happened to the Jerry Springer show.It used to be a "normal" talk show when it first came out.It had bad ratings so then it became a fun raunchy and hilarious talk show and got better ratings. This episode spoofs that.Jimbo's cable access show and Jesus's cable access show are competing with each other to get the more views.Jesus's producer has some idea's and changes the show into a show that is exactly like "Springer" to get better ratings.Meanwhile, on Jimbo's show, they hunt a fictional Mexican staring frog.Stan made it up after Jimbo made up facts about Vietnam and got an F on his assignment. There is a very funny scene where Jimbo, Ned and the boys are on Jesus's show and they start fighting each other! THis is a funny episode!

The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka (#2.6)

Warning: Spoilers
The plot story of this episode doesn't seem to e all that insanely great, but what they did with it really was great comedy. Many amazing and hilarious scenes and jokes.

The best part of this is of course the Jesus show. Jesus is a great and fun character. Watching his show become a Jerry Springer show with a lot of trashy people in the audience and crazy made up stories on stage was great. Especially when they boys participated as well with Eric throwing a chair.

Other smaller jokes were also fun. Loved Mr. Garrison's imaginations of Vietnam as well as the quick mockery of hunting reasons in the beginning ("We kill them so they don't die!")

One of my least favorite from season 2, but only because there's not much happening. Not a bad episode just kind of meh for me. Jesus is funny and Satan and Saddam is great. 7.0.
