The first episode to include the City Wok Chinese Restaurant.
Comedy Central pulled this episode from regular repeat rotation, because of the scene at the end where Butters is heard being beaten by his parents.
When Jared walks through the restaurant, a Visitor appears in the top right corner by the dining table near the painting.
On November 19, 2015 Jared Fogle pleaded guilty to charges of distribution and possession of child pornography and traveling to engage in illicit sex with a minor and was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Fogle will not be eligible for release until 2029 at the earliest. In April of 2015 the director of the Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested on charges of child exploitation, possession & distribution of child pornography and voyeurism. Taylor and his then-wife would record themselves molesting and having sex with underage girls, as well as secretly recording their daughters in their bedroom and bathroom and selling those videos on the dark web. The investigation revealed that Taylor had sent thousands of sexually implicit images and videos of children as young as six, including hidden camera footage of Taylor's own daughters, to Jared Fogle. Upon obtaining warrants for Fogle's computers and phone the FBI found not only those image and videos sent by Taylor but many others as well, they also found evidence that proved Fogle traveled to New York (where the age of consent is 17) with a 17-year old girl who volunteered with the Jared Foundation for the explicit purpose of having sex with her. They also found text messages from Fogle to his then-girlfriend, Cindy Mills, where he talked about sexually abusing a 9 and a 16 year-old girl; he also asked Mills to arrange for him to have sex with her 16 year-old cousin. Fogle was originally facing additional charges that would have landed him in prison for 50 years had he not accepted the plea agreement.
When asked about this episode, Fogle has stated that while the episode had "typically tasteless humor," the fact that an entire episode was devoted to him was "very flattering." He added, "you know you've made it when shows like South Park start parodying you."
