- When Ray finds out that Frank used to let him win at Ping Pong as a kid, he challenges Frank to a rematch.
- While in Frank and Marie's basement, Ray and Robert find their old ping pong table. They begin to remember the days when they played against their father when they were young. Ray was so happy that he had finally beat Frank at the game. Then he found out that Frank let him win all those years ago. Furious that his father lied to him, Ray wanted a rematch. So when the two played, Ray ended up letting Frank win just so he knew how it felt. ...And then Frank was angry.
- Marie has bought a full load of fabric for real cheap and has decided to make curtains for Ray. She gets Ray and Robert to haul the fabric to the basement where her sewing machine is kept.
Robert and Ray discover a ping pong table in the basement and remember all the times when Frank would beat them at ping pong and tease them while doing it. Frank would rhyme the scores with insults for Ray and Robert. Like "10 Serving 3, you cannot compete with me", "14 serving 1, you are really not my son". Every time he scored a point was accompanied by a little dance. Ray remembers how he beat Frank at the game once after which Frank never insisted on playing with him again. Ray says that it was his spin ball that finally beat Frank.
Ray discovers that Frank (Marie tells him so) had let him win once in Ping Pong, which Ray wasn't aware of. Frank says he learned to play in Korea from Koreans, and no US punk kid was ever going to win against him. Frank says that he appeared to be sweating and panting as he is a very good actor. Frank says that he let Ray win as he cried a lot after losing to him. Ray is shaken since he thought he always had that win against his father. Without that win he was just a crying baby.
To prove that Ray can play Ping Pong better than Frank, he challenges him. Frank accepts the challenge, and the date is set to be the following day. Ray spends the whole night practicing his Ping Pong and wakes Debra up with the noise. Ray says that trash talk is the key to Frank's game, and he asks Debra to call him names like Nancy, Sally or Pansy to imitate Frank.
They get into a match and Frank keeps beating and teasing him. Frank calls Ray a little girl and says that Ray is going to get a shellacking. The rhymes include "zero serving zero, Ray can kiss my Rearo", "One serving Zip, I see a quivering lower lip", " Two serving Nadda, I am ashamed to be his Fadda". Ray tries to rile Frank by saying that he is bald, but Frank retorts that Ray has a big nose. When Frank wins, Ray tells him that he let him win. Frank challenges Ray, but Ray won't play against him now. Marie says that Ray cannot take away a man's dignity like that. She says that Ray's behavior was terrible.
This makes Frank mad, and he finally admits that Ray had actually beaten him. He says his teasing and taunting was only his way of making Ray tough. After returning from Korea Frank couldn't get a job as he had no skills. He tried many jobs, but was always fired with lame excuses. He ended up as a bookkeeper without any career. and that was his life. He wanted Ray to have better. Ray admits that Frank beat his fair and square in the latest match and Frank is back to his teasing best.
