- When Bart finishes his test, his teacher gives him an F, leaving Bart despondent, and after looking further, his face crumples up and he starts crying, lamenting that no matter how he did, he still failed. Quite sad for viewers, (but it turns positive when Krabappel regrades him based on his display of knowledge (of a very obscure fact), giving him a D- (he passed, but only barely))
