Killer Queen (#8.11)

Warning: Spoilers
On Valentine's Day Donna asks Randy out but he has plans. Only he ends up surprising her. Hyde doesn't have a present for Sam but Red shows him his secret gift stash which he later regrets. Jackie finds out too much about Christine and gets fired.

I was kind of disappointed that Jackie didn't get Kitty and Red to go as the couple on the show. This sure would have been a better story than the gift stash. And her and Fez weren't that funny as Kitty and Red could be.

So Donna will be with Randy now. I don't know what to think of this. Did the producers at this time think that they will continue the show and need a new boyfriend for Donna now that Eric was gone? Then it makes sense. Otherwise they should have just kept her single and towards the end get her go to Africa and reunite with Eric. It would make more sense to keep this couple together even with Eric gone for this season.

Randy Sucks

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is tied for the worst in the entire series. It's almost as if the producers were looking for a way to reduce ratings to give them an excuse to end the show. What better excuse to annoy the viewers than by giving Donna a new beau. It was one thing when she was seeing Kelso's brother in season 4 because Eric was still there and it was never really serious. Randy is the worst character in television history and one of the biggest reasons why season 8 sucked even more than season 7. The only thing the producers did get right in the end was finally hooking Jackie and Fez up, which should've been done in season 2 or 3.
