It's interesting to see how innocent and naive the tribe members are in this first season, going into the merger.

We see straight away that their disorganised approach to voting has already cost them an old member. Now it's almost an inevitable outcome, unless they scramble and find a uniting plan or manage to break the existing alliance. Poor innocent children.

The moment Pagong's fate was sealed.

Warning: Spoilers
I feel like this is quite possibly the biggest vote off in the first season. It shows the tribes merging, and there being a 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 vote. The entire Pagong tribe voted for somebody else, and Sean at least tried to have a strategy for his stray vote, saying he was voting Colleen since she was the earliest name in the alphabet. In the end, Gretchen was the vote off by the Tagi 4 alliance. The Sean comment is important because his stategy is what the Tagi 4 use going forward as a way to take away the rest of the Pagnong tribes, who did not even realize there was an alliance. This basically sets up the next four episodes, and also sets up a position where Sean becomes a part of the alliance without being in the alliance, and therefore he gets the brunt of the blame for his wishy washy ness.
