  Ashley Davies : What's wrong is that dad number four moved out, and now my Mom is having a sleep over with the new man-candy. And my Dad's new girlfriend Jodi is having a party at his place, so I'm kicked out of there. I'm this close to sleeping in my car.

  Spencer Carlin : No you're not. You're coming here, I'll let my Mom know you're staying over. Only thing is, I'm going to see D.J. Money tonight.

  Ashley Davies : With who?

  Spencer Carlin : You mean with with whom?

  Ashley Davies : I mean with whom are going and don't lie because I know that it's Kelly.

  Spencer Carlin : Fine, you got me. You know, I'll just call her and tell her that you're going to join us.

  Ashley Davies : No way. Have fun tonight, I'll be fine at home with your family.

  Spencer Carlin : You're not gonna be a third wheel.

  Ashley Davies : Damn right I'm not. You can find someone else to chaperone you on your big date.

  Spencer Carlin : Ash, it's not a date.

  Ashley Davies : Right. Remind her of that when she's trying to score.

• Paula Carlin : [in Spencer's room]  Almost dressed, hon?

  Spencer Carlin : Uh, yeah. Getting there.

  Paula Carlin : Good. So, Ashley, are you ready for the show?

  Ashley Davies : No, I'm not a big fan... of the the D.J.

  Paula Carlin : Oh. Well, make yourself at home. Dinner'll be ready in about an hour.

  Ashley Davies : Thanks.

  Paula Carlin : Okay, Ashley, this is an adorable dress, yeah.

  Ashley Davies : Oh, thank you.

  Paula Carlin : It's really cute. Okay.

  [opens the door to Spencer's room slightly]

  Spencer Carlin : You should wear it to dinner.

  Ashley Davies : You should wear it on your date.

  Spencer Carlin : Oh! It's not a date!

  Ashley Davies : Really. Then why is that the millionth outfit you've tried on?

  Spencer Carlin : I just want to look nice. There might be some cute guys there.

  Ashley Davies : Oh good. They can watch Kelly feel you up. Right it's for the cute guys. Then why are you putting the platforms on that I let you borrow? You know that they give you blisters, and they're the last thing cute guys are gonna notice. Look, all I'm saying is, you're going to be on your feet the whole night. Wait, unless you want Kelly to sweep you off your feet!

  Spencer Carlin : [throws a shoe at Ashley]  It is not a date! God, shut up.

• Spencer Carlin : Allright, this is such a cool car! do you think we can lose the top?

  Kelly : You wanna go topless? Ok.

  [starts to take off her shirt; lets go of the steering wheel] 

  Spencer Carlin : [grabs the steering wheel]  No no no! Oh my God, no! I meant the covertable top!
