Worst Thai film I've watched

WEREWOLF IN BANGKOK is completely terrible. For me, there's nothing worse than an unfunny comedy, and this is a case in point. It's the type of film that makes the below par Thai action films I've watched like BANGKOK KNOCKOUT looks like astonishing works of cinema in comparison. WEREWOLF IN BANGKOK is a no budget, no laughs, would-be comedy about a chubby guy who gets bitten by a werewolf and then goes on a rampage of sorts.

The budget is so low that this looks like it was made by a group of college students. The acting is very bad, particularly from the lead actor who looks and feels like a cheap imitation of Thai comedian Petchtai Wongkamlao. The little girl who plays his friend and is dressed as Uma Thurman in KILL BILL for some reason is no better, but even these two look good compared to the other actors playing the gangsters and antagonists.

The special effects look like they come from Poundland and the incessant humour is all of the lowbrow variety with endless goofy slapstick and fart jokes. It's all completely horrible and it combines to make WEREWOLF IN BANGKOK a truly soul-sucking viewing experience, one I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
