The one who wins gets to write history

Warning: Spoilers
This episode has great lessons that people still have not learn or want to hear in 2021.

When Buck stated they only fought because they call them an Indian-lover.

When Teaspoon explained that his kin fought against British and won. Yet the Indians had their land taken from them and are fighting for their way of life. Now the Indians are called savages.

Some people still don't want to see that the descendants of Britain wrote the American history and they decide who is called the enemy, the savage, the hated one even now.

This particular Young Riders episode focuses on Gregg Rainwater and the challenge he faces when his Kiowa kin call for him to declare himself to be one of them. The Kiowas are planning a major campaign against the ever increasing white settlers.

Rainwater feels he belongs nowhere except to his young band of brothers from the Pony Express. The camaraderie among his peers is what he likes the most. That camaraderie is evident when the others take up his cause after he's thrown out of Don Collier's mercantile. A western veteran Collier would have a semi-recurring role.

You'll have to watch to see how this is resolved for Rainwater.
