¨I am still plugged in¨

Warning: Spoilers
The episode wraps up the Genosha storyline from previous episode. It is an entertaining episode with a lot of cameos. Most of which are very nice, but having Mystique amongst them is not as believable. It's is weird to see her as a background character.

It also introduces master Mold and Cable, although it was confusing what the latter's role was.

Gambit's Gambit/s

This episode is so crazily paced, it's hard to keep up. I really think they could have split this story into two parts. It would have allowed a better introduction of the Cable character. Also I think one whole episode should have been devoted to the slavery angle, as there were many interesting mutants in collars that we didn't get a chance to meet properly. The whole thing felt really rushed. However, I still enjoyed it a lot.

Gets points for the clever use of Gambit. The cliffhanger leaves us wondering about his allegiances yet again. It suits him as the roguish element in the group.

Phenomenal episode

So much action, watching in 2024 and it still packs a punch. Loved the Mystique and Cable cameo/intros. After the previous episode I was hoping it would get back to the original pacing of sentinels and mutants fighting back and it did not disappoint. Plus the cliffhanger was perfect, reminded me of my childhood where I would immediately let go of the breath I had sucked in unknowingly and now waiting for the next week's episode. I do wish Storm would stop getting injured/weakened so quickly after displaying her powers. Hoping to see a lot more of Cable. Rogue's rescue of Storm was great and I internally cheered.

Slave Island.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode really disappoints, where there's mysterious happenings going on and characters without introduction. Continuing on from "Cold Vengeance" where Gambit, Storm, and Jubilee are captured while investigating an island resort called Genosha that could be a safe haven for mutants. Here they're forced to build a dam which doubles as a power supply for a new Sentinel factory as slaves, along with an array of other mutants. Enter Cable and what appears to Mystique in the background as well. The Jubilee character's starting to grate for me, always repeating the obvious, cheerful yet instantly dismissed.
