- Senator Robert Kelly: [Morph is watching Senator Kelly on TV] This shocking incident at the New Salem Mall is just part of the growing menace of mutant violence
- Morph: [Morph shapeshifts into Senator Kelly] My fellow Americans, I am an idiot!
- [giggles]
- Wolverine: [Wolverine has Gambit at his mercy during a training session] Had enough, Cajun? Just say "Oncle".
- Jubilation Lee: Don't hurt him!
- Wolverine: Huh?
- [Jubilee blasts Wolverine. Storm, Beast and Morph enter the Danger Room]
- Storm: Is the child alright?
- Wolverine: Not for long!
- Storm: Because I control the elements, I am called Storm.
- Jubilation Lee: At least your name makes sense. I'm called Jubilee. I blow stuff up.
- Professor Charles Xavier: That building is the headquarters of the Mutant Control Agency. Somewhere in there are the registration files of hundreds of mutants, innocently duped into revealing their identities.
- Wolverine: So we get 'em and we shred 'em.
- Gambit: I'd get in there alone, easy.
- Professor Charles Xavier: No, Storm will take three X-Men in with her. Wolverine and Beast and Morph.
- Morph: If it makes you feel any better, Gambit...
- [morphing into Gambit's doppelganger]
- Morph: I'll go in this like, huh?
- Jubilation Lee: [after Jubilee runs into Storm and Rogue knocking them over] Hey! Why don't you watch where you're going?
- Rogue: Us! What bug crawled up her shorts?
- Storm: I believed it's called youth, Rogue.
- [inside a gift shop]
- Female Cashier: You must like playing with cards.
- Gambit: I like Solitaire ok... that is, unless I got someone to play with.
- Beast: [Beast is mixing chemicals while hanging upside down] It would be quite disconcerting if this were to detonate... disconcerting, yet provocative.
- Jubilation Lee: [Jubilee accidentally destroys an arcade game with her powers] Oh no, not again!
- Arcade Manager: Hey, you! You know how much that game costs?
- Jubilation Lee: Yeah, a quarter.
- [lowers her shades and sips on her drink]
- Arcade Manager: Hey, you're one o' then, ain't ya?
- [Jubilee runs out of the arcade]
- Arcade Manager: We don't want you lousy mutants around here!
- Wolverine: Hold it. Electronic beams.
- Beast: You can detect the infrared spectrum?
- Wolverine: I can smell 'em.
- [sniffing]
- Wolverine: Ozone.
- Storm: You will see them as well, as the mist rises.
- [she uses her powers to reveal a row of security lasers]
- Beast: "With faint heart, averted feet, and many a tear, in our opposed path to persevere." A minor poet for a minor obstacle.
- [jumping onto pipes in the ceiling and crossing above the lasers, he comes to a circuit breaker box]
- Beast: Hmm, I wonder. "Security." Are any of us truly secure?
- Rogue: You're supposed to know everything, Beast. What makes us like we are, anyway?
- Beast: Gamma rays. Pollution. Ozone depletion. Television.
- Morph: Progress.
- Wolverine: Lousy luck. You sure make a lot of noise.
- Gambit: You decided to join us, eh?
- Wolverine: Yeah.
- Storm: Did you find the child?
- Wolverine: Her trail went cold outside the house. Got bit by a dog, too.
- Jean Grey: I just went to check on Jubliee. She's gone.
- Wolverine: I'm going after her.
- Cyclops: No way, Wolverine. We've got a job to do first.
- Wolverine: [growling, he extends his claws] I go where I wanna go.
- [pushing past Gambit]
- Wolverine: Out of the way, gumbo.
- Cyclops: [Rene powers up and prepares to throw a playing card] Gambit! Let him go.
- Gambit: [vanishing the card] Ah, he's not worth it.
- Professor Charles Xavier: I managed to retrieve part of the robot's visual memory. Take a closer look as I replay it.
- Rogue: [Logan comes in] Howdy, Wolverine. Take a load off.
- Wolverine: Anybody notify the kid's parents?
- Rogue: We gave 'em a holler, but nobody hollered back.
- Professor Charles Xavier: There. That ID photograph is from the Mutant Control Agency registration files. That's how the robot found her.
- Cyclops: Professor Xavier, could the government be plotting against mutants?
- Professor Charles Xavier: No, the Mutant Control Agency is a private organization, occasionally supported by the government. Someone at the agency appears to have a hidden agenda.
- Storm: This is Professor Xavier's School for the Gifted.
- Jubilee: Gifted, huh? I get you. That's a nice way of saying "mutants", "weirdos", like me.
- Storm: Like all of us.
- Jubilee: Aren't you guys a little old for school? Or did you all get held back?
- Storm: We X-Men learn something very special here, Jubliee.
- [conjuring gusts of wind]
- Storm: How to control our mutant powers for the benefit of mankind.
- Jubilee: [fighting to stay up straight] All right, already! But then why do people hate us?
- Storm: People fear what they do not understand.
- Jubilee: [fleeing from a Sentinel] What did I ever do to anybody? I didn't ask to be a mutant. I'm just a kid.
- Rogue: You know, I remember when I was 13. Had me a boyfriend, 'til I kissed him. Poor boy was in a coma for three days. That was when I first realized if I touched anybody, I absorbed their strength right into me. Some power, huh? That's when the boys quit calling.
- Beast: [chortling] Consider yourself fortunate. I had dandruff.
- Jubilee: I must be going nuts. Everybody's gone, people flying everywhere. The mall's turned into some creepy, for-real video game.
