- Dana Scully: [Deep under water amidst rocks and plant life, we see the lifeless bodies of Shannon McMahon and Knowle Rohrer lying on the seabed. The camera takes us closer to Shannon. As we near her face, her eyes suddenly burst open. We later cut to Scully waking up on the sofa. She turns on the light. William starts stirring in his crib, she goes to check on him. She strokes him] Everything's going to be okay. Go back to sleep.
- [She lies back down and falls back asleep. The camera shows the mobile hanging above him. William reaches for it. As it fades to black the mobile suddenly starts to turn]
