When the show begins, the residents of Bayview are all in church and the addlebrained minister's sermon is disjoint and loopy as usual. It's so bad that Harvey yells out "That was a REALLY stupid sermon!" and no one objects to his outburst.
Tom is in the hospital. It seems he did NOT have prostate cancer but is prostate needs surgery (shaving, they call it) and of course Diana is both concerned and ready to fight.
In a surprise mood, the Idiot Baines has announced (but not to Jane) that he wants to get married to impress the people on the board of some country club...hoping this will improve his chances of gaining admission. While it's much more likely they don't want him because he's a total cretin, you'll have to see the follow up episode to see what happens when he proposes to Jane.
And, finally, Geoffrey's convinced that Marion is in league with Satan...something first suggested by Diana but with which he totally agrees.
This is a decent episode...not among the funniest but still well worth seeing.
