Yes and no. Wild turkeys are capable of flying as that is their means of fleeing from predators when they are on the ground looking for food. On the other hand, domesticated turkeys which are raised by poultry farmers to be sold to consumers are fed a diet to enhance the amount of meat on them. And since they are usually raised in enclosed facilities they don't develop the necessary wing strength to compensate for their added weight. So if they were dropped from a helicopter they would plummet to their death.
