Alan gets annoyed over Charlie telling Jake some inappropriate jokes, warns Charlie that Jake is dealing with a flu of sorts. Charlie scoffs and claims he never gets sick. Alan winds up with Jake's virus, only two times more severe than Jake's. Meanwhile, Charlie is ecstatic over the thought of revenge sex with Kathy. Charlie manages to get Alan excited over double dating because Alan will wind up with a soap star. Plans change drastically when Charlie winds up with the flu. Let me just say that I love that Alan got sick before Charlie. Alan being sick before Charlie is justice and rings true. Considering how selfish Alan can be, I thought it was well done. On the other hand, I enjoyed the rare bonding between Charlie and Alan, where they are on the same page. There are some great moments in this episode. Rose's healing strategy was weird and amusing, Alan drinking from the tap when his mouth is full of germs was absolutely disgusting. Charlie says it perfectly "Not very hygienic"

Alan: Excuse me. Hasn't anybody noticed I'm sick and miserable here? Charlie: Yes, Alan, we noticed. Which is why we're gonna make like Hockey players and get the puck out of here!
