The One With Berta...
taylorkingston26 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode. It's mainly because it introduces Berta, who is my favorite character from the entire series. She's so funny, and rude. She just says anything, and everything that's on her mind.

In this episode, Charlie's housekeeper, Berta, quits, which leaves Charlie a bit helpless. He's trying to write a new jingle, which isn't coming very well. Alan tries to convince Berta to come back, which is very funny. Charlie has to take care of Jake, and make him dinner, which is just hilarious.

Fun Fact: Berta was originally only meant to appear in this episode, but the fans loved her so much, she became a regular cast member.

First appearance of: Berta.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Inevitable return in the start for Alan

Warning: Spoilers
This fourth episode distinguishes itself for several reasons of three first ones. First of all for the first time we have the impression(printing) that puts into series her(it) in found its way, its your mixture of cruelty, crudeness and irony. Other big key point: the dialogues, we are entitled to a real verbal ping-pong with one-liners which are linked from start to finish. Without forgetting a suspicion of vulgarity on behalf of Berta always very cynical and lucid. For all that we do not have to deal with the ultimate cult episode but with the very good episode with an Alan in great form which wants to leave the house of Charlie. To return finally in supplicant Charlie literally on the knees. In any case here is at the moment the best episode which exploits(runs) almost all the threads and the qualities of the series (is missing a really cult passage and the conquests of Charlie).
