Shootout at Dead Dog Farm
Tweekums1 June 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Like so many episodes this one follows multiple story lines; still suspended from the FBI Agent Cooper finds himself deputised into the Twin Peaks Sheriff Department as they plan to catch Jean Renault and his associates at Dead Dog Farm; things don't quite go according to plan but some quick thinking and cross-dressing saves the day! In other plot lines James is getting closer to Evelyn and asks his uncle, Big Ed, to send him some money; Ben Horne appears to have gone insane as he is dressed up as General Lee; Nadine rescues Ed when Hank attacks him and Shelley Johnson has quite a shock in a way that I won't spoil.

This is another enjoyable episode where it is impossible to pick out any one stand out performance as everybody was pretty good and no one character dominated the episode. The most interesting of the week's plot lines involved the events at Dead Dog Farm which brought that particular story line to an exciting and satisfying conclusion. With that storyline concluded the Windom Earle plot is getting interesting in a way that gave the episode a fairly shocking conclusion... in fact it ended with a double shock; I was surprised the last scene with Shelley wasn't the conclusion but the last scene in the Sheriff's office managed to trump it!

The Last Renault
Hitchcoc16 August 2017
Garland comes back from his ordeal with the aliens (I guess). He intimates that things are not good. Eventually, he is interrogated by the Twin Peaks police, and, unfortunately, taken away by the Feds before he can tell his story. Evidence points to where the last of the Renaults is doing his drug deals and the gang which ends up in a hostage situation. Big Ed has a fling with his true love which leads to hilarious consequences. This is a fun episode with a parade of quirkiness. It serves the series well, but what is going on with Garland? Also, Ben is going nutty with a miniature Civil War battlefield of the Battle of Gettysburg where the South is going to win. He has a surprise visitor toward the end of the episode. And then something else startling.

Warning: Spoilers
Another very slow episode, except this one was full to the brim with romance. Now for me, romance is up there with action as a convention that I honestly couldn't care less about. It takes a LOT for me to actually care about a character's romantic relationship, so when there were characters in this episode like James and Evelyn, Nadine and Mike (kinda), Charlotte and Ben, Harry and Josie, I just don't really have all that much reason to care. Ed and Norma is ever so slightly touching, and ironically the best couple in the show, Shelly and Bobby, weren't very coupley in this episode. This whole thing with Lucy, Dick, and Andy is also quite tiresome, as well as finding out Nicky's background. Even the ending with this weird chess game felt a bit out of the blue. The only things to me of interest this episode were the mystery surrounding Major Briggs, and the ending confrontation, where Jean Renault gave a very thought-provoking speech. Is Cooper responsible for all the weird happenings in Twin Peaks? He certainly seems to be linked in some way to the supernatural. I'm hoping the plot can move along sooner rather than later, and I'm assuming it will given there were a few cliffhangers this episode

The Coma end, the problems starts
AvionPrince1623 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So Briggs talk a bit more about what he saw: an Owl! Pretty weird to be honest. Cooper finally killed Renault. James take a little bit risk with Mrs Marsh and we see that she may be play a game with him because i didnt see her really fight with her husband and find it pretty weird. Leo wake up from his coma and shelly get terrified and that will be interesting to see if he was conscious the whole time?? Did he see everything that Shelly and Bobby did? The consequences can be hard with Leo. That was pretty interesting. We see also a corpse at the end that maybe a game play with Cooper and his ancient teammate. But not sure for now. Need to see more.
