- Dumped Kelso's only relieve is to hear Jackie is miserable too. Hyde points out to Kelso that he was crying for almost a week. Fez is determined to seize the opportunity to ask Jackie out. Hyde advises that Jackie is on a rebound and that Fez should give her some space. But Fez sees this as the only opportunity to woo Jackie. Fez dreams that he wont let even Ninjas get in the way of him asking Jackie out to dinner.
Fez calls Jackie to set a dinner date. Jackie accepts dining at an expensive French restaurant without even asking first who with. After she accepts, she finds out that it was Fez who asked her. Jackie is more interested to find out how Kelso is doing and agrees to be picked up at 8 pm. At the dinner, she stuffs herself full of both plates and keeps nagging about Michael. Fez tries hard to make conversation with Jackie, but she just keeps eating and asking questions about Michael Kelso.
Fez goes back to the gang and narrates his horrible date with Jackie. He was disgusted. But even after that shameless abuse, the puppy Fez is happy to be openly kept on a string by Jackie.
Kelso meanwhile is happy that Fez is getting nowhere with Jackie. Donna tells Jackie that she is trying to fill Kelso' absence in her life with food. Donna warns that if Jackie doesn't take care of herself, she is likely to get very fat. Jackie realizes she is right, agrees to keep Fez on a string and moves on from Kelso.
Eric and Laurie are at each other's throats, as usual. Eric mistakenly believes to overhear Laurie telling Hyde an embarrassing secret about him which nobody will specify. Hyde tries to convince him that she didn't say anything about Eric, which is the truth. So, Eric carelessly 'admits as insignificant' to the basement mates that he was known in summer-camp as Doctor Pipi -a confidence she actually kept- and starts a ratting duel with Laurie, where they tell increasingly embarrassing secrets about each other. This ends with Eric tattling that Laurie was born with a tail. Laurie runs away crying. Kelso believes he slept with the Devil. Laurie takes a more practical revenge. She puts Eric's hand in warm water while he is napping in the basement.
Red asks Kitty out for dinner at a fancy French restaurant but tells her to wear his late mother's necklace. Kitty doesn't have the necklace and tries to hide the fact from Red. Red and Kitty return soon from dinner and Red wants to know what happened to his mother's necklace. Kitty admits that she pawned it when the family was out of groceries budget. Red walks away. Red is upset, but soon forgives her as he pawned a pocket watch that Kitty's father had given him. He also pawned the lawnmower, Eric's phonograph, the snowblower (which belonged to Bob). Red admits that he wasn't mad at Kitty, but himself for not being able to provide for his family.
