Warning: Spoilers
Eric invites Donna for a Valentine's dinner on their first official date. Donna gets drunk and Hyde comes to tell about his feelings. Jackie takes Micahel shoe sopping instead because she is worried they will have to do it every time. And parents also have a nice night with a fondue.

It was great to finally see Eric and Donna on their date. Good that Hyde couldn't ruin it. Her getting drunk was a nice addition. And it was romantic how Eric kissed her regardless of vomit.

Parent made us laugh once again. I loved Kitty's "fon don't" when it comes to not putting hands into hot oil.

This show sets the stage for the next one - "The Pill"

This episode shows how Jackie supposedly became pregnant in the next show, when we see Kelso and Jackie stretch out on the front seat of Kelso's mid-1970s Lincoln Town Car. Those were true behemoths, allowing normal-sized people to get it on and stretch out while doing so. (I rented one once in the mid-'70s and it was a living room on wheels.) Meat Loaf's 'Bat out of Hell' had been released in 1976, with the monster hit "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights" and it would have been the time-perfect touch to have had Kelso and Jackie disappear behind the dash while that song was playing on the car radio!

The main part of the show was rather tame...but it was funny seeing Donna get drunk on her drink - having been brought a Long Island Iced Tea instead of the plain iced tea she'd ordered from the restaurant waiter.

Not a bad watch.
