Two episodes in and already we're getting a Starfire-centric episode that offers a small bit of back-story and development for her. Right from the opening scene, we get the signs of a relationship brewing between Robin and Starfire that I'm looking forward to seeing develop. In the comics, Starfire is regarded as Dick Grayson's second best love interest (after Barbara Gordon, of course), so it'll be interesting to see how well they adapt it.
In terms of Blackfire, I thought her plan to trick her sister into taking her place in prison was surprising yet they never explain why she does this. I have no doubt Blackfire will return at some point, but I hope they inform us as to why she treats her sister like she does here.
The main issue with this episode, again, it that it feels rushed. Perhaps being a two-parter would benefit this story as it really suffers when Starfire is about to leave and is suddenly attacked by the two alien police. However, the main purpose of this was to introduce Blackfire and give us a taste of Starfire's backstory. And in that, it succeeded.
