Featured review
Having been bitten on the bottom by a Pekinese, Sykes pays a visit to The Doctor, expecting to see his regular GP, he's seen to by the glamorous Doctor Barlow, and falls in love with her.
Surreal silliness throughout, Dream is definitely one of the zanier episodes, how can possibly say what weird and wonderful recesses of Eric's mind that this one came from.
The dream sequences are very funny, and definitely varied, all put Sykes in the role of hero, with Barlow as the damsel in distress, the fighter pilot scene was so funny, and we get to see Hattie as a bunny girl.
Joanna Dunham played the part of The Doctor very well, the standout was Miss Marple herself, Joan Hickson, who was a scream as the no nonsense nurse, very similar to her Carry on character.
Frank Thornton appears, this is the year, 1972, that he'd become familiar to viewers as Captain Peacock.
8/10.
