Charlie Picerni, who is playing the dark curly-haired Thug #1 is the Stunt coordinator and Paul Michael Glaser's stunt double/driver throughout this series.
When the detectives pick up the mafioso's daughter, she carries a Gucci shoulder bag and Hutch carries out her matching heavy suitcase. The luggage has a repeat logo pattern ("Gucci", in black upon white), and a middle panel consisting of a thick green stripe with a red stripe in its center. Part of this luggage set would be seen exactly 4 years later, in another Aaron-Spelling production, Angels at the Altar (1979) with the lovely Tiffany angel---the ever elegant Shelley Hack---and co-starring a very young - and very brunette - Kim Cattrall.
