- All hope seems lost, until Colonel Everett arrives suddenly from Earth. He is determined to defend the city until the arrival of a ZPM, brought by a new ship.
- Two hive ships are still approaching Atlantis and all hope seems lost. Weir orders evacuation and she and Sheppard activate the city's self destruct. Just when McKay tries to dial the address of the evacuation site, the stargate activates from off-world. All of the sudden help from Earth is under way as a certain colonel Everett arrives with reinforcements. Immediately he gets under everybody's skin. He relieves Weir of command, orders her and Sheppard to cancel the self-destruct and get the evacuated people back. He tells Earth has constructed a new intergalactic battle cruiser, the Daedalus, that will arrive in four days, bringing a ZPM. He brought some supplies to defend the city until then, naquadah powered gun turrets and an improved naquadah generator to power the weapons chair. He also deploys some space mines to keep the hive ships at bay. Will it be enough?—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- The two remaining hive ships are continuing their trajectory to Atlantis and the expedition prepares to destroy the city. The evacuation is interrupted however by the arrival of Col. Everett and and a team of Marines who have been sent as an advance team to defend the city until the arrival of their new battle cruiser, the Daedalus. Everett is a no-nonsense officer who immediately pushes Elizabeth Weir aside, taking overall command of the city. The Wraith quickly defeat his principal defenses of the city leaving him only one option: to send Major Sheppard on a suicide mission to destroy the hive ships before they destroy Atlantis.—garykmcd
- Fearing it's a hopeless battle, Weir sets up self-destruct while ordering evacuation to the alpha-site, when suddenly a small detachment arrives by stargate from earth. SGC's colonel Dillon Everett takes over command, ordering a fight to the death. The first Wraith attack wave is barely resisted, while McKay's team has trouble getting the command chair to work, but without a ZPM it all seems hopeless. Sheppard's team deals with a series of Wraith snipers-saboteurs who were projected from destroyed fighters, then he flies off alone in a desperate invisible attempt to hit another mothership, warning someone else may to repeat so for the last. Weir is sent to negotiate with the genii, to exchange the C-4 they crave for their nuclear prototype bomb, only their leader deems the Wraith planet past their planet already, so it only serves them as free trial.—KGF Vissers
- A new military contingent from Earth is sent to take command of Atlantis and defend it from the impending Wraith attack. Shepperd sets out on a suicide mission.
