Standard issue episode

It's a foundational episode, giving some character development and a little scare or perhaps potential threat as they open up the city. Also establishing more city functions. Not much FF (fast forward) in this one, even if it is a bit basic.

"Hide and Seek"

Warning: Spoilers
The Atlantis mission continues - the team continues to figure out the city they now live in. Dr McKay finds himself in trouble when he can't remove an Ancient device that acts like a shield. That seems like not that big of a problem, except that for as long as the shield is on his chest, he can't eat or drink, which means he is slowly dying. At the same time, the team is assailed by a shadowy darkness that has a mind of it's own, can harm them and appears to be consuming all around them. Not ideal. All in all, a pretty good episode.

"Hide and Seek" is co-written by none other than Roland Emmerich of 'Independence Day' and 'The Patriot' fame.

A step up from the 1st ep

A better all around episode.

The story can easily be followed. Characters are starting to make sense and the acting looks like it's improving.

After this ep they still have a lot to prove. I don't know when I'll watch the 3rd.

In conclusion are good episode.
