Bye-Bye Danny
Johnny_West6 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Sullen, miserable, angry Danny is finally off the show. Hopefully all the characters on MI-5 who are concerned about their ethics, morals, etc. Will stay off this show. The constant whining and moralizing is annoying.

The most interesting part of this show was Badria Timimi, the woman who kidnaps Adam. She has a lot of personality, and she is interesting to watch and listen to. Even better was the shocking twist surprise that she showed Adam when she lifted up her blouse.

The Suffering of Strangers
Prismark1023 February 2020
The third season finale and it becomes clear that one or more operative is going to meet their doom.

Iraqi nationalists have been tracking Adam and Fiona and it is her birthday. They both met in Syria and Adam has bought a special present for her.

However Danny and Fiona follow a lead and walk into a trap. Fiona had to shoot a video message. Adam has to meet one of the captors and follow their instructions.

Only Ruth Evershed realises something is wrong when Adam rings her and leaves a coded message.

Harry needs to act fast especially as the Prime Minister is to due to have an important meeting and give a speech.

This one really is a race against time. All three characters, Fiona, Danny and Adam are in jeopardy. A new character Zafar is introduced which again gives the idea that someone is going to be replaced.

The villains are ruthless, they threaten to burn Danny and Fiona alive. However given that this was broadcast just over 18 months after the second invasion of Iraq. It was clear by then the death and destruction that ordinary Iraqis suffered. Wedding parties that were inadvertently bombed by the allies. As one of them tels the operatives. You cannot hold the moral high ground just because you bomb from a distance and leave carnage behind.
