Tree fiddy

Warning: Spoilers
Trey Parker and Matt Stone have gone on record saying they disowned nearly all the episodes from the first three seasons. Still, I enjoyed a lot of their early work and this is an episode that really does get better. This is one of the few times Kenny dies more than once in an episode. He just randomly comes back, which makes as much sense as anything else back then. It makes me miss Isaac Hayes, as he quit the show and then died. I do like how they manage to make Kenny's death relevant to the story as Cartman uses his body at the end.

The tree fiddy gag did get kind of annoying, but it worked out in the end. At first, I thought the succubus was going to turn out to be the Loch Ness Monster. Instead, the last scene showed it was that doctor. How clever. One of the best jokes is in the beginning when the new chef comes in. I was surprised Mr. Garrison actually gave good advice. Wow, this show really has changed and even matured. I still always want to find new episodes for me made at any time. ***1/2

Pretty decent episode

There really isn't anything outrageous or shocking in this episode, but its a great episode. Chefs parents and the eye doctor make up the bulk of the laughs but besides that its standard enough, its a great episode non the less.

Interesting

The Succubus is a funny and interesting South Park episode. It involves Chef quitting his job as school cafeteria chef and getting an office job. This is because he fell in love with this girl who is trying to change him and suck the life out of him(like a succubus demon). The boys try to stop her from sucking Chef's life.Meanwhile, Cartman has poor vision according to his eye doctor who always makes fun of his weight and requires glasses. He hates them and decides to get laser eye surgery. The boys find out Chef's fiancé is actually a succubus and must stop her. This is a funny and interesting South Park episode.

Chef's Parents!
kittyellie16 February 2006
This is one of my favorite episodes and it is entirely due to Chef's parents. The main plot is about Chef's new girlfriend and the inevitable consequence that she takes chef away from the boys. The boys then try to do everything in their power to stop chef from marrying what they determine is a succubus. This main plot is rather standard. There is nothing extraordinary about it. Well, then we meet chef's parents. They tend to ramble on with stories from their life that have nothing to do with the events at hand. This dialog is some of the funniest, silliest stuff I've ever seen on this show. I giggle every time I see it.

There is also a subplot with Eric being harassed by the eye doctor that is good for a few laughs.

"I ain't givin' you no tree-fitty, you goddamn Loch Ness Monster! Get your own goddamn money!"

Warning: Spoilers
I like more watching The Simpsons in Spanish than with the original voices even in those days when the Mexican dubbing is a different one, certainly was strange to hear Homer with another voice but I still prefer this new voice than his original by Dan Castellaneta (this new dubbing cast did the work for The Simpsons Movie which I saw several times in Spanish also!). However in the case of South Park I prefer the original voices, the work of Trey and Matt and company is so damn great to be not enjoyed however I also love the old dubbing (MTV is now the channel in which South Park airs at least in Mexico. It's been a long time since I don't watch South Park on MTV but I remember that the old episodes had a complete new dubbing. One of the worst I have ever heard, it was so damn bad that South Park was honestly unwatchable!), the one that I was familiar with when I watched South Park on Locomotion and the one that appears on the Season 3 DVD set. Season 3 of South Park is one of my favourites, I saw practically all of its episodes on TV (on Locomotion when it was a good channel) and for a reason the DVD set contains Spanish language as an option (the only DVD set of the ones I have, from Season 1 to 7 with the exception of Season 5, that contains language options) so I could remember those days when watching South Park on TV was a daily thing for me by watching The Succubus in Spanish. And it was great to watch this episode again, definitely one of my favourites of Season 3 with many memorable things and one of those episodes that is highly re- watchable.

Cartman alone makes this a must see episode, he has problems of vision then he goes to see the doctor who is one of the most memorable minor characters of all time (I'm almost sure this doctor is a one episode character). This doctor really annoys Cartman who is practically defenseless with the doctor and he ends using by force glasses since the doctor stapled them to Cartman! On the DVD commentary, Trey says that Mr. Derp is just hilarious and he is not lying but who is Mr. Derp? Well, Chef is not longer the chef of the school then Mr. Derp is the new one but and for obvious reasons the kids hate him. So we find that Chef has a new girlfriend, Veronica who sings a f****** annoying song! But who changed Chef's life. The title of this episode says everything about Veronica, absolute fun with Chef's parents (each adventure with the Loch Ness Monster is hilarious, he wanted $3.50!) and the usual crazy stuff this time when the succubus has no longer a human form. The very last scene confirms that the eye doctor is a really memorable character!

Incubi Cartman's Eye
RicketyCricketImposter31 December 2021
A somewhat lackluster episode but still entertaining, and also still funnier to me than most of season 1 and 2 but then again I'm a huge fan of the later seasons. Cartman's eye exams and doctor is great, Chef is always a treat, and Mr. Derp is such a goofy wacky character, I hope he doesn't never come back ever again except for in the background. 7.9.
