Hospital Hold-Up

Warning: Spoilers
Jonathan is in major medical trouble in the 15th episode of Season 3, "Resurrection."

Jonathan's heart problems, a result of taking on Kryptonian powers from Jor-El to stop Clark at the start of the season, worsen. He will need triple bypass surgery. However, a Smallville High student named Garrett Davis holds up the hospital to receive a liver for his brother Vince, who is experiencing liver failure. He wants Jonathan's liver! But Clark doesn't let it happen.

The end of the episode is most intriguing, when Dr. Lia Teng, a doctor working for Lionel Luthor, takes Vince's blood platelet and uses it as a sort of medicine to revive those who have already died, exposing the truth behind Adam's mysterious residence in the town.

3x15 - Rewatch (Clark-centric)

Garrett's brother dies & then comes to life. So, now Garrett's brother needs a new liver to survive. Then, John Q. occurs. Garrett straps a bomb to himself & holds the patients in the hospital hostage until his brother gets the help he needs.

I find it funny how the show incorporated kryptonite in about every episode to weaken Clark. It appears in the most random places & the most random times.

Clark found out that Lionel Luthor is using his blood in a serum to bring people back to life.

Miraculous Power

When Jonathan Kent goes to Smallville Medical Center for physical examination, his doctor diagnoses arterial blockage and recommends a heart surgery procedure with triple bypass. Meanwhile, Vince Davis (Tahmoh Penikett), the older brother of Clark Kent's friend Garrett Davis (James Kirk), needs a liver transplantation, but he does not resist and dies. His body is sent to be the subject of an experiment of Dr. Lia Teng (Françoise Yip) with blood platelet and revives. When Vince gets sick again, Garrett looses control and becomes a threat to the patients, employees and visitors of the hospital.

"Resurrection" shows a miraculous power of Clark Kent. The story is good, and we finally understand the sort of research that Dr. Lia Teng is developing with blood platelet. My vote is nine.
