"The Teflon Tailback"'s name is Geoff Johns, which is also the name of well-known DC comics writer Geoff Johns.
The stadium shown as the backdrop at the 24 minute mark is the former Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which has since been replaced with US Bank Stadium. Previously this trivia stated it was a Canadian stadium which upon review is false. The skyline is also downtown Minneapolis.
At minute mark 41:16 there is a wide shot of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Notice that the field does not have the right dimensions. There seems to be two different 50 yard lines and the goal post in the endzone closest to where Clark is standing is right on top of the goal line.
Chloe says "I just have a feeling you're destined to do a lot more in this world then just score touchdowns", which is similar to a line said by Jonathan Kent in the Richard Donner films.
Geoff refers to Clark as "C.K." in this episode. In the Lois & Clark TV Series, Jimmy Olsen also refers to Clark as "C.K." on a regular basis.
