Miraculous Aircraft
claudio_carvalho29 April 2006
Warning: Spoilers
While hiding the aircraft key in the storm cellar of the farm, Martha Kent breathes some unknown poisoned spores and immediately gets ill. She is sent to the Smallville hospital under the care of Dr. Helen Bryce, and the results of her blood tests are sent to DCA. When the agents come to inspect the place, Clark and Pete Ross come first to move the aircraft, and Clark also inhales the spores getting also very sick. The DCA agents find the key, and Jonathan tries to retrieve it, expecting a miracle to save the lives of Martha and Clark Kent.

In "Fever", it is disclosed the miraculous healing power of the aircraft. The story is very tense, with a good plot point. Chloe Sullivan discloses her secret love masqueraded as friendship for a feverish Clark Kent. My vote is nine.

Going down with Sickness
Rcwilkinson12327 September 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The surprise of this show is the demonstration of what the ship of Krypton can do- a surprise that is indeed pleasing.

Spores from the mysterious green substance in town cause Martha Kent to get extremely sick, prompting a government branch to quarantine and search the Kent household. This forces Clark and Pete to hide the ship as quickly as possible. In addition, Clark later inhales some of the same spores. As a result, doctors want him to go to Smallville Hospital and receive blood tests. This cannot happen because no one, particularly Lex lover Helen Bryce, can discover the different alien features found in the blood of Clark.

Temporary despair and risk highlight this intriguing episode.
