Emotional, outstanding performances, one of the best of entire series.

The Plan reminds us why we love Six Feet Under so much. It is one of the best episodes of all series.

Ruth is the main character of this episode, i think. She joins the club 'The Plan' where she re-thinks about her life. She starts to hide from it but eventually she says everything she thinks about her family and friends and realizes that is what she had to do.

Gabe calls Claire with a scared voice wanting her to pick him up from somewhere but after he shots a man who hitting on Claire. Claire is shocked and tells Gabe to go and get his gun. Lauren Ambrose's perform is amazing in that scene she really shows the fear.

We see the first seeds of what Brenda is going to be in this season after she gets bored of life and sex. She discovers something interesting.

Nathaniel's ghost comes back, and we realize again he was a good guy. His talk with David is very emotional.

My point to The Plan is 10. And i'm saying again whoever didn't watch this show misses a lot.

An Episode Full of Feelings
claudio_carvalho11 October 2006
When Michael John Piper dies of cancer, his psychic widow goes to the Fisher's and discusses details of the funeral service with Nate, David and her dead husband. Ruth is dragged by Robbie to a seminar called "The Plan" for recovering her self-esteem but she has a bad reaction. Brenda is not in a mood for sex, and Nate becomes curious with the sexual life of his acquaintances and friends. Claire is questioned by the police in school about Gabe, and later she meets him. When Gabe shots a driver while stopped in a traffic light, she leaves him and discloses the truth to Nate, David and Keith and is advised to go to the police.

"The Plan" is the best episode up to now of the Second Season of "Six Feet Under", with many inner feelings being disclosed: the insecurity of Ruth; the love of Claire versus her duty of honest citizen; the early absence of sex desire in the relationship of Brenda and Nate. I find this episode full of feelings. My vote is ten.
