Lack of direction?

I'll be honest, the first part of this episode was very, very funny, and I genuinely thought we were going to get a decent episode staring Comic Book Guy, however the second part of this episode is not that great...

It appears to me that during this era of the Simpsons they had good concepts but didn't know how to conclude them. Another good example of this is The Computer Wore Menace Shoes from earlier this season. Comic Book Guy falling in love with Skinner's mom is just a really strange and "Family Guy" levels of uncomfortable and the Bart and Milhouse plot was predicable and didn't interest me at all as soon as I knew where it was going.

The highlight of this episode was definitely the Moe's Tavern scene, very funny. Moe was a character that stayed consistently funny throughout the series until they made his entire shtick that he wanted to commit suicide.

5.9/10.

Godfather III - Good version

Warning: Spoilers
Worst Episode Ever is a pretty decent season 12 episode of The Simpsons, and with the focus on supporting characters (Comic Book Guy, Agnes Skinner) this episode is no doubt bound to divide The Simpsons community.

But still, it's a worthy episode for sure, with the reference to Godfather III - Good version being absolutely hilarious for sure.

Agnus Skinner and Comic Book Guy make an eclectic couple for various reasons that are bound to divide The Simpsons community without a doubt.

The comic book shop raid at the end was hilarious without a doubt, as was the arrest of comic book guy as he was in the arms of Agnus.

The Comic Book Guy takes centre stage

The Comic Book Guy falls ill, leaving Bart and Millhouse to fill in for him in this better than average episode.

By this stage in the shows run the writers obviously were looking to branch out and give the many supporting characters the opportunity to shine, and become more developed.

That is well achieved here, but it does leave you wanting a bit more from Marge/Lisa etc as well.

This is by far 100% the worst episode of the Simpsons ever created.
