Batman (TV Series 1966–1968)
The Radioactive Man tv show we see a clip of from the 60s is a parody of this show. The music is very similar, it uses action words such as "POW!" when people get hit and so on. Radioactive Man spoofs Batman whilst Fallout Boy spoofs Robin.Waterworld (1995)
"Aquaworld," the place where Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy are trapped, has a similar name and an almost identical environment to this movie. Also, the businesses in Springfield inflate their prices for the production crew -- the small coastal town in Hawaii reportedly did the same for the production of Waterworld (1995).
