Nikki arrives!

Nowhere Fast sees the arrival of Nikki, as a fresh faced Emilia Fox arrives and eventually endears herself to Leo and Harry. The story is pretty good, if I'm honest it's not one of my favourites, but there are some good elements, it boasts a great cast, the likes of James Wilby, Ramon Tikaram and Joe Duttine. With Burton gone, Harry and Leo's characters have instantly become more interesting. Emilia Fox is instantly a delight, her character is so intriguing.

I said I thought the story was pretty good, in truth it's a bit run of the mill, far from the imaginative stories the show later became famous for.

All in all great character play, decent story. 7/10

The Arrival of Emilia Fox

This starts with trouble in the horse racing game where a favored horse and a jockey collapse during a race. The jockey is killed by the falling horse and the horse needs to be destroyed. But there is way more stuff going on. The family surrounding the racing business is into a whole lot more, including black market deals. Emilia Fox comes on the scene. I was a bit annoyed because she is sort of spacey, she doesn't insult our intelligence, and that is good.
