The first cut is the deepest.

An explosion at a Hotel where a Minister is staying is treated as an act of terrorism, suspected is a young Muslim woman, who's body was among the dead. Sam and team are on the case, but her mind is elsewhwere.

When you watch the newer episodes you get struck by the balance of humour and drama, there is zero humour in this episode, it is entirely bleak and very dark. The opening scenes of the hotel going up are sad enough, but what happens to Sam is horrific.

There are definite prejudices at play here, assumptions are made in several instances.

I particularly liked Deborah Findlay who plays Mary, is she really there as a friend of Sam's, or is she there for other motives?

Grim, but excellent, 8/10.

A Very Harsh Episode
Hitchcoc5 March 2019
This one starts with a dinner guest trying to rape Sam. She is not at her best from that point on. The episode involves an explosion in a hotel where some big shot was staying. Soon, the Muslim population is seen as suspicious because a young Muslim woman died at the scene. There is xenophobia all over the place. A missing body is at the center of all this as we move into the second half.
