Strong penultimate episode, gaining more speed and focus than the last

Warning: Spoilers
Compared to the last episode, this one definitely feels a lot better paced and with more direction. While I don't like how the Russians were introduced as part of the reason for the cop killings, I thought the way that they handled it here was kinda cool. The C4 explosions happening were just something different, and unexpected, which made it feel like the scale in this show was growing. Though I find it hard to believe that one of these Russians would kill themselves over this. The Seizure policy is Rawling's baby, so I really like her coming back to her hands on approach to save it. As I say like every episode, tensions are rising! I like how the cop killings possibly being Seizure related add extra pressure to Rawling. The scene between Aceveda and Rawling as they discuss how the Seizure policy has affected Farmington was another standout. This episode was also great for Aceveda. It brought back the guy who sexually assaulted him last season, threatening to expose him. Aceveda making a deal with Antwon to get rid of him was insane! I'm excited to see where this goes. It's cool we get to see even more of Antwon's past with his half brother. This episode brings back more things from season 3 with the wife of the killer from season 3, which I loved. She talks about how she's still harassed over what her husband has done, it's pretty sad. Her shooting Danni was crazy. At least Danni is doing something, she felt forgotten this season. This episode as always also has some funny moments like Dutch dropping the cripple on the stairs, and his chair breaking when he sits. Dutch fighting Billings is a great scene and it really shows how everything is affecting Dutch. The ending scene where Rawling realizes Aceveda made a deal for Antwon with the DEA, which essentially means his brother will be executed making everything Rawling has been working for fall apart, is definitely a devastating scene I wasn't expecting. Rawling screaming about it was absolutely chilling, this scene really stuck with me and brought this episode to another level. Her confronting Aceveda was great. Glenn Close is astonishing in this scene. Vic closing it off with "You're not a cop, you never were." hit especially hard coming from him. Shows how much Aceveda has regressed. There's a ton going on in this episode, which I didn't really talk about because I didn't really want to review this episode like some others but since I essentially reviewed the entire second half of this season I thought I might as well. This was a really great episode, and I'm definitely excited for the finale.

Turnout . Aceveda !

Warning: Spoilers
This is a really great episode that ricoches back to Aceveda. At least in the beginning he is aligned to work with Monica Rawling and her seizure policy but Juan Lozano is about to testify against him soon and his future is at risk as a council member status. Strike team is back together but they want to squeeze the russians to break their case , at least from the facial expressions Vic wants succeed Rawling as a captain and find out about these latest cop killings. One of the russians accidentally flips over the chair with explosive C4 tied to his legs and arm and blows up, one other dirty sin for the strike team books. Aceveda cutting a deal with Antwon's safe passage and that sealing the deal of Monica and him being allies on the seizure policy.
