Just watched this in 2022. Still so clever and witty. Things were looser back then (less cancel culture) and the laughs more honest. Authentic NYC characters. Cute trip to Connecticut. Although I'm quite sure those scenes were filmed in New Jersey.

This was a very funny episode, it always makes me laugh, no matter how many times I watch it.
Carrie's part of the story was fun, I think all women feel that way when they miss a period. For the firs time in a while I didn't think Carrie was over reacting to something in her relationship with Mr. Big
Sam's part of the story made me wonder about the writers. When I think of Sam I feel like she has an ego and great self-esteem but this episode made it seem like she doesn't have any and that she sleep around to hide that.
Charlotte's part of the story was sad, and very real. I felt like Lily was a horrid friend, doing what she did. I really wanted Charlotte not to give up because Lily stabbed her in the back to make herself look better
Miranda's part of the story was so placid, it felt like she really didn't have a story. That part about her Dog Pepper was terrify.

Laney Berlin, an old fellow that Carrie,Charlotte,Miranda and Samantha know from old times,is going to do a Baby Shower to celebrate her baby that is coming very soon. The four friends go to the shower without many enthusiasm,and they see a very different Laney from the past: a woman really interested in family and kids, the very opposite of the old Laney who always was showing her boobs to everybody in a party and having sex with a new rock star from time to time. While Charlotte sees the life she wants to have, Carrie starts to imagine if she wants that for herself,specially when she sees that her period is 4 days late.
