This episode marked Julia Louis-Dreyfus's full return to the series. Louis-Dreyfus was on maternity leave. She did not appear in episodes 4.1, The Trip: Part 1 (1992), & 4.2, The Trip: Part 2 (1992), and made pre-recorded cameo appearances in episodes 4.3, The Pitch (1992), & 4.4, The Ticket (1992). This is why the studio audience cheers loudly when she enters Jerry's (Jerry Seinfeld) apartment.
When Helen is asking Jerry about Crazy Joe Davola in Jerry's apartment, you can see in the background Kramer telling Morty about the levels Kramer was planning to build from Season 2, Episode 2's "The Pony Remark." Kramer makes the same hand gestures as when he first explained it to Jerry and Morty in "The Pony Remark."
This episode is continued in episode 4.6, The Watch (1992). It is the only two-part episode of the series that is not separated by a Part 1 and Part 2 in the title.
This episode contains the first scene where Morty (Barney Martin) and Helen (Liz Sheridan) appear without Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld).
